Teachers Gifts
The project was actually created to answer a request from one of our members, Lisa. She sent me an email explaining that she has five children and always gives gifts to their teachers at the end of the year. Her request was for a gift that is "gorgeous, perfect, useful, interesting and cheap" that she could make for all five teachers. So, I came up with this idea for her, hopefully it ticks all the boxes. Lisa, I hope you love the projects and the teachers do to! sed molestie velit pellentesque eu. Praesent dapibus enim turpis, at lacinia purus. Fusce dictum fringilla justo ut pellen-tesque. Vivamus eu urna dolor, id ultrices odio. Fusce sit amet sem nibh. Phasellus rhoncus imperdiet egestas.

Bread Basket
A few of us decided at the show that larger one of
these could be made, to hold bread or bread rolls
on the table. I am imagining a larger, more oval
shape and perhaps even a little shorter too. How
gorgeous it would look to have a beatiful basket of
crusty bread rolls when you serve your Roasted
Pumpkin Soup.
Tip. You can use the Roasted Pumpkin Soup recipe and the Home Made Grain Bread recipe, both can be found under Cook - Daily on the sewcraftcook website.

Christmas Table
Make for a contempoary addition to your Christmas table these little hessian bags would make. You could fill them with baubles and make the bags in a colour to match your Christmas Decor. You can serve chips or nuts in them (place a piece of baking paper in it so keep the oil away from the fabric). They would look great in the right fabric colour with a poinsettia in them to make tem more Christmassy. You could put a glass in them and place a tea light candle in that to light room ( you may want to leave the bags unlined for this so the light shows through the bag as well... maybe just a ribbon around the top to finish it off and turn the hessian inwards to fold over ....

Large Pots
To cover large pots you could make large size baskets, you may like to use double the thickness of hessian so they are thicker and more robust. You could tie them at the top under the fold (so you can't see the tie). You could also stiffen them with PowerTex, a fabric stiffener.
