A MINT & USED collection of post WWII issues with Russian
& French Zones, Saar (with selection of earlier issues), Berlin
& West Germany, in mounts in Schaubek Album. Some
highlights include (by Scott): RUSSIAN ZONE with good
MINT selections with some varieties & duplication for
Berlin-Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with Deer 4pf
#12N14 used (cv $52), Saxony Province, West Saxony with
#14N15-20 used, East Saxony and Thuringia with S/S #16N3a
MH ($160, thin); selected mint & used DDR thru 1970s
including Mao #82-84 MH ($150); FRENCH ZONE has mint
& used with S/S from Baden #5NB4a MNH ($110), Rhineland
Palatinate #6NB6a MNH ($82), Wurttemburg #8NB4a MNH
($110); WESTERN GERMANY: mint & used thru 1959, nearly
complete from year 1953 with many higher cv items including
Marienkirche B316-17 MNH ($180) & Beethoven S/S MNH
& used; BERLIN: mint & used thru 1988, nearly complete
from 1952, with many better including Stephan #9N35-41
mixed mint & used (est $300), Goethe 30pf #9N63 used ($50),
asst Bells with #9N73-74 used ($105) & 9N94-88 used, others.
Mint stamps mixed NH, hinged & some no gum. Lots of
valuable material, fine to very fine overall.

Includes: GERMANY B292-93 ten sets (x6 MNH) including
two imperf pairs (Scott $150); NETHERLANDS B144-45 mint
set, used set, plus S/S B144a & B145a MNH (Scott $184);
FLEMISH LEGION private issue from Belgium, mint set of 6
showing royalty (Michel IX-XIV) plus MNH set of 6 miniature
sheets of 4, IX 5fr is creased (Michel €€1050 for NH). Fine to

About 2,150 mostly USED stamps on stock pages and
Lighthouse hingeless album pages 1970-90. Collection
complete for years 1970-80, many others from 1950s-60s and
1980s. Includes 61 souvenir sheets (mixed MINT never hinged
and used) and a couple miniature sheets. Some album pages
in blue Lighthouse springback album. Overall very fine.

HINGELESS ALBUMS (2-VOLS) ................................ $300-400
Large stock/accumulation of many thousands of MINT &
USED organized in a variety of binders & stockbooks,
collections in Minkus Album & on loose album pages and
selected issues in plastic card holders with many better
individual items including several duplicated MINT (some NH,
some no gum) se-tenant and/or label(s) position pieces (listed
in Michel catalog) for Wagner 4pf+6pf & 8pf+12pf, Buildings
8pf+15pf, 4pf+6pf and 12pf (Scott B46). ALSO noted (by
Scott): Wagner 3pf-25pf used with 20pf B55a (cv $97) & 25pf
B56, Professions B59//B67 used (no 20pf); good range of Third
Reich material; early to modern mostly used issues with light
to heavy duplication for many issues in stockbooks; selected
mint & used on dealer pages in counter book; cover box with a
variety of covers including picture & postal postcards, FDCs
and other covers; much more. Huge amount of material with
high total catalog value. Some faulty to be expected. Average
to fine for earlies, fine to very fine for later issues.

Collection housed in two green Lindner T hingeless Albums
(1872-1945) with dust cases. The few early stamps are Used,
1920s onward mixed Mint & Used. Includes MINT never
hinged (by Scott#): (1) Vol 1 #452-58, B93-101, B107-15,
B121-31, B148-68; (2) Vol 2 #506-27, B169-70, B172,
B174-99, B200-291, B292-92, plus various Airmail, Officials,
& some French Legion. Condition mainly fine to very fine.
Decent collection to build upon. Estimated cat $1000.

1948-94 WEST BERLIN & DDR ASSORTMENT ... $250-350
Hundreds of MINT never hinged and used stamps in mounts
in Davo Germany album, pages for West Germany. Appears
complete from 1957-90 (mixed mint/used), with several issues
for 1951-56. No booklets included but does have souvenir
sheets (Beethoven S/S used). Overall very fine, album like new.
1870s-2000s COLLECTION IN SCOTT ALBUM ........ $400-600
A mixed Mint/Used intermediate collection hinged in Scott
Specialty Album with pages to the 1970s, and later issues on
quadrille pages. Collection includes nice ranges of mostly
inexpensive material from Empire, Inflation era, Third Reich,
West Germany, Officials, Berlin plus a few States & Colonies.
A few better items include (by Scott): Speyer Cathedral #350
used, Ebert & Hindenburg #366-84 used, Hitler S/S B104 MNH
(cv $240) with a couple creases, Third Reich issues B200-91
MH complete, Portraits B338-41 MH, Reaching for Peace 3m
with black BERLIN overprint used (without cert). ALSO
selection of town cancels, a few booklet panes & some se-tenant
pairs. Owner’s total cat $3,300, inventory included. Clean
collection with good variety. Some faulty, overall fine to very fine.

STOCKBOOKS ............................................................ $250-350
Two stockbooks filled with more than 1,900 mint & used
stamps from Germany & Area. Includes German Empire x1200;
Bavaria x250; Danzig x170; Saar x200, Bohemia & Moravia
x190 plus a few from other occupation areas and immediate
post-war issues. Includes both mint (some MNH) and postally
used, a few varieties and blocks, several postal cards and a
neat DDR Postal Museum souvenir sheetlet of ‘black print’ of
1m issue of 1900. Little duplication, overall fine to very fine.
