S
ERVICE A LA FRANÇAISE is an organization that mobilizes the “Meilleurs
Ouvriers de France” on an International level. SERVICE A LA FRANCAISE
MAURITIUS is at the heart of our international development, making
Mauritius the first country in the world, outside of France, benefiting from the
largest knowledge transmission from the « Meilleurs Ouvriers de France ».
Our ambition for Mauritius is to support the development and promotion of
crafts not only for hospitality sector but also within the 240 crafts of the “Meilleurs
Ouvriers de France” such as construction, gardening, lightening or environment,
related to sustainable development which is now at the aim of our trainings and
projects for 2020.
2019 was our launching year and we trained more than 700 professionals
from different hotels and resorts in Mauritius. 22 “Meilleurs Ouvriers France”
intervened in 15 different crafts, which made SERVICE A LA FRANÇAISE (SAF),
in less than a year, one of the most exclusive and high standards training
organizations in Mauritius.
This year 2020, VATEL and SERVICE A LA FRANÇAISE are collaborating in order
to increase the quality of our training offers in Mauritius, the Indian Ocean
and Africa with the development of a corporate approach. The new passport
programme "Journey towards Professional Excellence " vetted by the « Meilleurs
Ouvriers de France » will help our clients to engage their employees and will
bring support to the growth of their key personnel.
With sustainable development as our main objective in 2020, we also support
the development of Mauritian SMEs and independent craftsmen (florists,
butchers, gardeners/landscaping, etc.), by providing them, through advanced
trainings, new skills to access the hospitality industry market such as processing
and optimization of products and compliance with the necessary environmental
and hygiene standards.
In 2020 among the 240 crafts of the « Meilleurs Ouvriers de France » we will
gradually open new trainings such as Artistic Photography or Artistic Hotels
Lighting and Parks in order to develop new crafts in Mauritius.
We believe that this year SERVICE A LA FRANÇAISE will consequently contribute
to the economic development of Mauritius buy bringing a strong dynamic
through the trainings proposed to promote the Mauritian crafts and contribute to
the major environmental and social challenges of the island such as sustainable
development to fight against global warming and precariousness.
Whether he is a chef, a barman or electrician, a good craftsman is one who
knows he is indispensable in an economy, a business as he is in our daily life.
Mastering a manual craft is an exciting and rare thing and a good gardener or
electrician, for example, is extremely sought after.
A great year to move forward together!
