Live to Serve, Love to Serve
Happy Holidays everyone! We hope that everyone has a wonderfully warm and relaxing break amongst family and friends this season. Everyone has put in a lot of amazing and impressive work this past semester and you all definitely deserve some time off! November was also quite busy as we all celebrated Kiwanis Family Month and Prematurity Awareness Month and we truly appreciate your contributions to both causes. We look forward to hearing more about all of the holiday-themed events that CKI clubs and districts will host duringthe season. Be sure to share with us your stories!
We would also just like to thank everyone who applied and spread awareness for the 2014 Tomorrow Fund Grant! We received 28 applications and have over USD $8000 to distribute amongst the successful candidates so keep an eye out for an announcement in the new year. If you missed the deadline be sure to apply next year as the grant is offered annually. For more information visit the Circle K website here.
Lastly, the position of the Students Team Up to Fight Hunger (STUFH) Ambassador is now vacant and we would recommend anyone interested in joining our team and representing STUFH to apply! Applications can be found here and are due January 6, 2014 to International President Daniel Tsang ([email protected]) and International Vice President Amelia Ahnert ([email protected]).
