My name is Kelly Chan and I am currently serving as the New York District Governor as well as the 2014 LSSP Fellowship Chair. Last year at LSSP, each attendee was left with that warm and fuzzy feeling after building a playground for the children in Vancouver. Working together proved that fellowship was not only built during the many activities we had planned, but just by working alongside other service loving individuals. This year, we hope that LSSP can surpass your expectations and reignite your love for CKI.

I have enjoyed attending the past two LSSP in New Orleans and Vancouver. I was able to participate in memorable service projects such as assisting in a house in New Orleans and building a playground for an elementary school in Vancouver. I am excited for Nashville because of the impact that I know that we will make in the community. Also, I am excited to see friends that I have met around Circle K International from past LSSP and meeting new friends as well!

This will be my third LSSP attended, and second in the Publicity and Internal Marketing sub-committee. I’m excited for LSSP/ICON in Nashville and the brainstorming ideas we’ve already talked about, and I hope we have a great turnout from Circle K and the local Kiwanis family!

LSSP has always been one event that I look forward to every year because of the opportunity to give back to a community as an organization. Because of New Orleans and Vancouver I have now made many friendships and memories to last a lifetime. I am very privileged to be on the committee this year and I can’t wait to give back to the event that helped me become even more passionate about Circle K.

Large Scale Service Project has been my favorite event since I went to Virginia Beach. It is a great opportunity to not only grow closer to members from across your own district, but also members across the world! I love the hands-on service projects we are able to do at LSSP. This past year, I even got to work with children, which was a blast. I can't wait for this year. It is going to be a blast!

I am really excited for the 2014 LSSP to be taking place in Nashville and I’m also looking forward to my continued work with the project planning sub-committee! LSSP has always been a great experience to meet people and work hard together to better the community. This will be my third and final LSSP and I can’t wait to see new and old members together united in service and personally to have a final service project with CKI.
