Features and Benefits

To increase the customer’s desire to buy it’s really important to promote the features and benefits that a product has to offer.

Features – A feature is a fact about the product, something you can see.

For example:

- How it is made

- Material

- Colour

- Appearance

- Fit

Benefits – A benefit is something the customer will get from buying the product. How do the features benefit the customer?

For example:

- Practicality

- Convinience

- It looks good

Give an example of a feature and benefit of a brightly coloured bikini made from lycra.
