Step 5:
Tie in some copper wire on the side of the hook. This will be used later...

Add some dubbing to your thread.

Create a nice body with the dubbing, you can add some taper to the fly.
Step 7:
Tie In hackle just behind the bead.
Tie the hackle so that it is 90 degrees to the hook shank. This will ensure that the fibers of the first wrap of hackle will be in the correct orientation.
Step 8:
Wrap a full rotation with the hackle just behind the bead and then advance the wraps to the back of the fly. When reaching the tail, we are going to secure the hackle with the copper wire. Remember to wrap the copper wire forward in the same direction you did with the hackle.
