Step 1:
Insert brass bead on the hook, small hole first.
Add some wraps with your lead wire, covering bit less than half the length of the shank and more than one 3 rd of the shank.
Strip a few fibers from a marabou feather. Tie the material in with a pinch wrap (this will ensure that the material stays on top of the hook). Make sure you don’t cut the excess material off where
you tied in the tail. Rather let that excess of the marabou extend up to the bead. This will ensure that you will have a straighter body.
Step 3:
Attach the thread just behind the lead. Dam up the thread with continuous wraps just behind the lead which will force the lead into the bead.
Make some wraps over the lead and back to the back of the hook.
Step 2:
Step 4:
Get hold of the marabou and pinch/rip/break the material to the desired length (Desired length can be a bit longer than the shank of the hook). DO NOT CUT THE TAIL with scissors. Get two separate pieces of flash and tie each pair on the side of the tail. The length of the flash must be a millimeter or 2 shorter than the length of the tail.
