Government Relations
their most important parts of PDA membership . Rightly so . It ’ s only though our collective voice that we can match the power of our adversaries . But in order to compete and win we need your help , your talents and your treasure .
In order to make our voices heard and build the relationships that get us a seat at the table where your issues are discussed we need to make sure that your PAC is well funded . In politics money is the equivalent of gasoline in auto racing . You can have the best car , the best driver and complete knowledge of the track , but if your gas tank isn ’ t as full as it should be you will always be playing catch up .
In racing you don ’ t focus on where you are , but where you want to be . If you look where you are , you ’ ll hit the wall . If you look ahead you can anticipate your competitors and the lines of the track . By looking ahead you are ensuring that you won ’ t get stuck behind those that want to block your path .
We know that every dentist in Pennsylvania is hurting . Some more than others . In order to make tomorrow brighter for you personally and professionally we ask that you contribute what you can . Your contributions are the lifeblood of your PAC . Without each of you the PAC founders . Your contribution is your gift to yourself , your colleagues and your profession so that you have a far better tomorrow .
We know that this is a hard ask and an even harder sacrifice to make , but both are necessary . Your decisions and your actions today are creating the future you will live in tomorrow . In order for tomorrow to be brighter you will need to think about what you want tomorrow to look like . Please contribute to your PAC so we can continue to advocate and win for you and for organized dentistry .

who believe in you and support you . If you are not in a position to contribute a lump sum , or don ’ t want to at this time , you can make monthly contributions , which may be easier or more convenient for you .
If you choose the monthly contribution by the end of the year you will have made a significant contribution towards your PAC . $ 100 per month for 12 months is over $ 1,000 . That ’ s only a little over $ 3 a day . $ 50 per month per month for 12 months is $ 600 . That ’ s less than $ 2 a day . The day to day impact on you is pretty minimal but the end of the year contribution to the PAC is a major help in moving your agenda forward . That type of contribution makes a big difference in strengthening your PAC and allowing us to have greater access and more decisive input into various campaigns .
If you have any questions about making a contribution to PADPAC , please contact John Basial at jpb @ padental . org or ( 800 ) 223-0016 , ext . 108 . You can also contribute online by visiting padental . org / padpac .
If possible , please pay with your personal check or credit card because if you pay via a corporate card or check it limits PDA ’ s strategic flexibility .
We know that making personal contributions ( hard dollars ) is a sacrifice . We take that sacrifice very seriously by only spending your hard-earned dollars where necessary . The truth is , we need hard dollars to win . In order to compete with the insurance lobbyists , one of the most formidable opponents in Pennsylvania politics , we need hard dollars to support those elected officials
