Join the Wayne School Team at the KEYS Run/Walk on Sunday, October 13, at 11:00 a.m. at the High School in Kewaskum. This event benefits Kewaskum Youth Scholarships, Inc. Funds are used to support scholarships for Kewaskum High School students. We hope you will be able to make this a family event. Registrations can be made on-line by going to the district home page www.kewaskumschools.org and clicking on KEYS Run/Walk at the right of the screen. Paper registrations are also available by calling the school @ 262-626-8427 ext. 5000. In addition, students will meet Tuesday mornings to walk/run laps around the school playground, in preparation for the big KEYS event on Oct. 13. Please send extra socks along with students on Tuesday!!! The last warm-up for KEYS, will take place on Oct. 2, when staff and students will be take a bus to Farmington Elementary and participate in a Mini KEYS Run/Walk. Student Led Conferences Parent/Teacher/student conferences will be held on Thursday, October 17 from 4:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and Tuesday, October 22 from 4:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. If you have not already signed up for conferences, please call the office at 262-626-8427, ext. 5000 to make an appointment as soon as possible. We do ask that a conference be scheduled for every student in grades 5K-5. The student led conference format will again be used. Students will take part in the conference by sharing work with parents and reflecting on how they think they are doing in each subject. Of course, age level will factor into how involved the students are in the conferences. Kewaskum Schools New & Improved Website During the course of the summer the Kewaskum Schools website has taken on a new look. Great effort has been put forth to ensure the data you need is easily found. However, it is possible that items were missed. If you are unable to locate something on the website or find errors, please complete the Comments & Concerns form on the new website, it is located on the left side bar.
