Bald Eagle School District Welcomes Chad Packer, High School Principal
BEA is proud to welcome Chad Packer as our next Director of Secondary Education! A BEA alum and experienced principal, Mr. Packer returns home to lead our Middle / High School starting this fall. A graduate in the Class of 1995 from Bald Eagle Area High School, Mr. Packer attended PennState University majoring in Elementary Education. He began his career in the Bald Eagle Area School District as an elementary teacher and reading specialist from 2000- 2017, and for the past three years, he was the principal of Tyrone Area School District.
“ We are excited to bring Mr. Chad Packer back home to Bald Eagle Area,” said Chris Santini, Superintendent of the Bald Eagle Area School District.“ Chad’ s data-driven approach to school improvement, ability to work in a team, and experience in the role of High School Principal set him apart. We look forward to adding his ideas and approach to our team.”
Exciting Changes at BEASD
It was a busy summer at schools within the Bald Eagle District. While everyone was on vacation, construction crews were busy moving, remodeling, and renovating! There is now a brand new weight room, which has been moved into what was the old Forestry Shops. The former weight room has been converted into new Special Education Offices, and there is also a brand new Forestry building. A nice welcome back for students and staff!
