Cover your cake in fondant
Step 12 Lightly brush water over your ganache using a pastry brush - this will act as glue to help the fondant stick to your cake .

Knead your white fondant until it ’ s soft and pliable , using a sprinkle of cornflour if your fondant starts to get too sticky . Roll out to approx 3mm thick in a rough circular shape . If needed , use a pizza cutter to trim into a circle and smooth out any bumps with a fondant smoother .
Step 14 To drape the fondant over your cake , start by rolling the fondant around your rolling pin- this will help you to easily lift and position it onto the cake . Begin by unrolling the fondant from the bottom left of the cake , draping it over the top and then down to the right . As you do this , quickly secure the top and upper edges with your hand to prevent any tearing .
