based oil as it will ruin O-rings. And this
is true. Mostly. Paintball companies have
been preaching that for decades in order
to sell their own brands of oil. Usually it
was synthetic air tools oil bought in bulk
and then repacked into small bottles with
fancy labels and an excessively high mark
up. I know one company that was using
synthetic transmission fluid for cars. True
story, but I digress. Back in the day, O-rings
were not as advanced as they are now.
Petroleum oils actually only affect “some”
O-ring material but not all. Please feel
free to look that up. www.macrorubber.
com has an excellent O-ring material quick
reference chart. Ultra Silk is not actually a
petroleum based lubricant. It just happens
to have SOME petroleum in it. With only 3%
petroleum content, Ultra Silk poses minimal
threat to your O-rings if it poses any threat
at all. Remember, this is a special lubricant
designed specifically for paintball by one of
the top gun techs in the entire history of
the sport. I trust it, I use it, and I have been
playing since 1989. Moving on…
With all these Ultra Shocker extras and
goodness, the standard SP case was not
big enough to hold everything, so Cesare
made sure to include HK Army cases with
the guns so that everything fit in the case
nicely. It is a “factory” gun, so it comes with
all the stock extras like hex keys, parts kit
etc. as well.
