I have been drooling over Cesare Pizzo’s
limited run gear since the 90’s. I have even
owned a couple of his autocockers for brief
periods of time. His P&P Supercockers were
nothing short of incredible. They had the
wildest anodization jobs mixed with some
of the best aftermarket parts that could
be found in the world. They were simply
at the absolute top of the paintball food
chain. To this day, these old Supercockers
are aggressively sought after by those that
do not have them and highly coveted by
those that do. So, I was very excited when I
started seeing Cesare returning to paintball,
breathing new life into the modern custom
market and rebooting the Supercocker
brand. Still… as much as I love autocockers,
I already have all the autocockers that
I want… well… all that I need. Want is a
whole different animal. What I needed was
a modern marker to keep up with the times.
Something that when I travel, I could swap
from electronic to pneumatic. I needed
light, efficient and reliable. Then I started to
hear rumours and see teasers on the net…
Cesare was going to do some limited run SP
Shockers… EXACTLY what I was looking for.
When the final product pictures were
released, I was blown away. These things
looked absolutely amazing. I reached out
to Cesare to find out more about these
glorious beasts. Only 15 of these original
Ultra Shockers were to be made. I think
what I like the most about these markers
is that they are “stock” without being even
remotely stock. Let me explain. SP Shockers
are incredibly made already. They are a high
end tournament marker but the little brother
to the Luxe line. I’m personally not a fan of
the Luxe myself. Too many options, bells
and whistles. The Shocker will shoot just as
straight, just as fast and can be converted to
mechanical which to me is a very big deal.
With the growing number of mechanical,
woodsball and classic tournaments that
cap electronic markers rate of fire, having
a mechanical trigger frame is an advantage.
