Making History Every Day. The Glenview Park District’s 18.6 acre
Historic Wagner Farm is one of the last working dairy farms in
Cook County and is open to the public for recreation and learning.
The farm provides a unique opportunity to learn about our farming
heritage and experience first-hand the way things used to be.
In addition to cows in the pasture and crops in the field, the farm has
chickens, draft horses, and pigs, as well as, a restored farm house and barn.

The award-winning Heritage Center contains
many exhibits where visitors can learn about
farming from the early 20th century through
the present. Here you can:
• Explore the world of agriculture and rural
life and understand its direct relationship
to our everyday lives.
• Pick up a nostalgic souvenir from the Museum Gift Shop. Featured items
include books, t-shirts, postcards and toys.
Please note: Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, exhibits inside the Heritage Center
will be limited to signage and descriptive panels. No hands-on exhibits will be
displayed until further notice.
