fter a tough but fulfilling season in the First Division, the preparations are well and truly underway for the 2019/20 season. The league promises to be as competitive as ever with Lynx FC looking to defend their crown for another consecutive year after recently returning from the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

"We have reinforced last season's squad with 3 new recruits, all experienced futsal players but each with their own individual qualities that will only bolster the strength of our squad", said Jordan early last month.

"The squad has already picked up one title this preseason, having won the inaugural Gibraltar Regiment Tournament. We have more games lined up from now until the start the season, which we expect to commence at

the end of September. This coupled with many tactical and fitness sessions led by Karim Vatvani have put us in a good position to compete to the best our ability once more with a squad comprising of home-grown, local players".

"We know that many of the other teams in the division have strengthened their squads and will have big ambitions in perhaps challenging Lynx FC for the league. We will assess our objectives as we go, just like last season, on a game by game basis".
