RAYMOND P. BIRON
CANAAN, Vt.–Raymond P.
Biron, 85, of Canaan, Vt., passed
away on Sunday evening, Sept.
25, 2016, at the Country Village
Healthcare Center in Lancaster.
Raymond was born in West
Stewartstown on April 3, 1931, a
son to the late Albert G. and
Marie-Rose (Therrien) Biron.
He was educated in the local
schools and was a vete ran of the
U.S. Army serving with honor
during the Korean conflict,
where he earned a Bronze Star
and the Soldier’s Medal.
Following his service, he
returned home and made a life
in the North Country as a jackof-all-trades, working as a
farmer and logger, as a business
owner installing flooring and
carpeting, as well as working for
a time at Ethan Allen and for his
brother. He was a very social
person who loved to be with his
friends, and he enjoyed playing
in the Canaan softball league for
many years. Raymond was an
avid fan of the Boston Red Sox
and loved to watch them.
He leaves behind two sons,
Raymond E. Biron and wife
Belinda of Madison, Alabama,
and Peter Biron of Apex, NC; his
partner and companion of many
years, Pauline Burns of Canaan,
and her children, Kathleen
Burns Lackie and husband Rodney of Littleton and Patrick
Burns of Jefferson, and her
grandchildren, Leon Gadwah IV
and wife Nikayea of Allenstown,
Francesca Gadwah of Colebrook,
and Olivia Flynn, and husband
Justin Flynn of Belmont, and
great-grandchildren, Rylan Raymond Poulin, Blake Gadwah,
and Hunter Flynn; four brothers,
Roland and Donald Biron of
Clarksville, Harry Biron of West
Stewartstown and Albert Biron
of Connecticut; and a sister, Pauline Carroll of Rhode Island.
Raymond is predeceased by
his wife, Jeanne (Daley) Biron; a
son, Paul Biron; and three siblings, Bernard Biron, Lucille
Biron and Philip Biron.
Calling hours will be on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, from 4 to 8
p.m. at the Jenkins and Newman
Funeral Home in Colebrook. A
Mass of Christian Burial will
take place the next morning,
Sat., Oct. 1, at 9 a.m. at St.
Brendan’s Catholic Church in
Colebrook, with The Rev. Craig
Cheney as celebrant.

FRANCONIA–Bonnie Ardita
Hull, 64, of Franconia, passed
away unexpectedly on Sept. 20,
2016.
She leaves behind her husband, William Hull, two children, Christian Ardita and wife
Betsy, Jessica Cheek and husband Matthew, and two grandchildren, Esther Grace and
Avery.
She will most be remembered
for her big heart and smile. She
worked for many years in Special Education and made a difference in many children's lives.
She was an avid skier who loved
skiing at Cannon Mountain and
in Colorado.
Bonnie's family invites her
friends to join them in a celebration of her life at the Cannon
Mountain Peabody Lodge on
Sunday, Oct. 2, from 2-5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations be made, in
her name, to The New Hampshire Foundation for Teaching
and Learning Children's Fund

DARRILL BROOKS
STEWARTSTOWN–Darrill
“Joe” Brooks died peacefully at
the Coos County nursing home
on Sept. 21, 2016. He had
resided there for the past few
months as his health declined.
Joe was predeceased by his
mother, Reva Brooks Ricker and
his stepfather Jim Ricker. He is
survived by a brother, Bill
Brooks of Colebrook; and a sister, Lillian Bressette of Stratford.
Joe also leaves behind his
extended chosen family; Mary
Shannon of Lancaster, Kathy
Keezer of Clarksville, Mike and
Tayton Keezer of Clarksville,
Norma Underhill of Pittsburg,
and April Keezer of Beecher
Falls. Joe was very special to all
of his friends and family.
Joe was a hard worker,
throughout his lifetime he
farmed, drove truck, and worked
at a lumber mill yard. Upon his
retirement Joe helped his
friends at every opportunity.
Joe enjoyed the simple things
in life; fishing, gardening, going
for walks and rides, and eating
meals out. He loved the outdoors.
Joe will be missed by his
many friends. As per his request
there will be no calling hours. A
private burial will take place in
Strawberry Knoll Cemetery in
Clarksville.
Albert Tardiff
ALBERT TARDIFF
PEMBROKE–Albert “Teddy
Bear” R. Tardiff, 72, of Pembroke, passed away on Saturday,
Sept. 24, 2016, at the Concord
Hospital in Concord.
He was born in Coleraine,
Que., on March 10, 1944, a son
to the late Hector and Helene
(Paquin) Tardif.
Al was employed at Wallboard
Supply Company in Londonderry
for 20 years. Prior to that he
drove a truck long distance for 15
years. He was a devoted family
man, loved his children, and
adored his grandchildren. Most
of his free time was spent with
his family, and as the children
grew his passion was his motorcycle. He and his wife spent
countless hours riding and traveling in the U.S. and Canada.
He is survived by his wife
Marlene (Young) Tardif; his children, Nancy Tardif Doucette,
Natalie Tardif Judge, and Stephen Tardif and wife Karen Faucher;
grandchildren,
John
Doucette III, Brooke Judge,
Dakota Judge, Dylan Tardif, and
Lucas Tardif; and his siblings,
Yvan Tardif, Rhea Bouffard,
Real Tardif, Marie Claire Coulombe, Rejeanne Demers, Louie
Tardif, Noel Tardif, and Alain
Tardif.
Al is predeceased by two sisters, Cecile Pepin and Giselle
Laflamme.
Memorial calling hours will be
at the Jenkins and Newman
Funeral Home in Colebrook on
Saturday morning, Oct. 8, 2016,
from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Immediately following, a memorial Mass
will be held at St. Brendan's
Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with
The Rev. Craig Cheney as celebrant.
