include a table of specially-priced
rare and collectible books, and a
variety of new, unused local
interest books donated by Littleton publisher Bondcliff Books.
The traditional afternoon “Bag
Sale” will begin at 1:30 p.m. after
a brief 15-minute recess starting
at 1:15 p.m.

BOOK SALE
The Friends of the Weeks
Memorial Library in Lancaster
will be holding their annual
Columbus Day weekend book
sale on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale includes
not only books but also audiotapes, CDs, video tapes, DVDs,
puzzles, games and much more.
Paperback books and videos will
sell for 50 cents and all other
items for one dollar from 9 a.m.
until noon. As usual, everything
becomes part of the “dollar a bag”
sale at noon and will continue to
be available at that price as long
as there are items on the shelf.
All Friends of the Library are
reminded that they can buy
ahead Friday night, Oct. 7, from
7-9 p.m. Anyone who wishes
may pay for a Friends membership at that time as well. Questions about the sale can be
addressed to library staff at

JEFFERSON FIREMAN’S
ASSOC. BREAKFAST
The Jefferson Fireman's Association will be having one of its
famous all-you-can-eat breakfasts on Sunday, Oct. 9, from
7-11 a.m. at the Odd Fellows
Hall on Route 2 in Jeferson.
Adults are $8, ages 4-12 are $4,
and children 3 and under are free.
