Come celebrate with them, enjoying the displays of antique equipment and exhibits highlighting their 50 years. Immediately following the meal, at 2 p.m., also on the Common, the Top of the Common will host an auction. Proceeds will benefit their restoration projects on the buildings at the top of the Common. Katie Rose uses her sweet sounds and unique songwriting style to make a positive impact on the world around her. A three-time recording artist, Katie performs at various venues in New Hampshire and New England. Katie also uses her songwriting and performance skills to benefit non-profit organizations, such as The Way Home in Manchester, N.H., the Cancer Relay For Life, and numerous others. She has performed at The Big E in West Springfield, Mass., and was named an honoree of the 2010 Union Leader Top Forty Under Forty. While she serenades, the Lancaster Farmers’ Market will be in full swing. Farmers will bring their bountiful produce, cheese, and meat for the Market’s customers buying pleasure. Squash, corn, melons, tomatoes, and so much more, if it’s in season, it’s at the Lancaster Farmers’ Market. The craft vendors always have something to surprise, from metal sculptures to hand made lotions, to cutting boards, and more. The Lancaster Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday until the beginning of October from 9 a.m. to noon. It is located in Centennial Park. The Sherbrooke Antique Car Club’s 22nd edition of “Les Belles de Fleurimont” was held at the Centre Julien-Ducharme Arena in Fleurimont this past week.
