Hi everyone !
I hope you all have been having a fun summer . I know many of you have been busy attending horse shows . I have been going to horse shows every weekend and having a blast with my horses . I am very proud of how great they are doing this year !
Not only have we been busy with horse shows but the Royalty Court and I have been attending many fun events as well . We got to spend the day at the Royalty Banquet where we got to hang out with the new contestants all day . It was so nice to see everyone that came that evening to support us all . We also recently attended Special Olympics where we spent the day volunteering and passing out awards . It was such a fun and rewarding day . Especially because I got to see the riders from the program that I volunteer at compete . I could not be prouder of them . They have worked so hard , and it showed ! The court and I will be attending the Minnesota State Fair and assisting with Equimania and passing out awards . Then next up we have Champ Show !
Speaking of Champ Show , it is just around the corner ! How crazy is that ! Not only will we be down there competing but my reign as the WSCA Princess will end as I pass the crown along to one of the wonderful contestants . It is such a bittersweet feeling and crazy to think about how fast this experience bas gone by . This year was by far one of the best and full of so many memories . We attended lots of fun events and met so many new people . I will cherish every single memory made . I cannot thank everyone enough for all their support through this journey . This dream of mine would not have been possible without many people by my side . First , the girls that are a part of this court with me . Kalli , Jordan , Abby , and Mali- Thank you for making this experience just that much better . I could not have done this without you girls . Because of you all , I have been able to jump outside of my comfort zone and really push myself . We had so much fun together . I am truly blessed to have met you all and I am glad this journey has brought us together . I know our friendships will last a lifetime . Thank you WSCA for allowing me to represent such an amazing association . It is a true honor , and I am forever grateful . This opportunity continued to remind me why I love this association so much and why I will forever be a part of it . Thank you , The Double Bit Riders Saddle Club , for electing me as your queen for many years and pushing me to join the contest . To my parents , thank you for allowing me to chase this passion of mine with horses and support me through It all . I could not have done it without you both . Thank you for believing in me . A huge thank you to my heart horse Bug . We started this journey together 10 years ago and we will finish it together . She has helped me accomplish so many goals and dreams . I am truly blessed .
As my reign ends , I will leave you with this . Each day you have two choices . To sleep with your dreams or to wake up and chase them . I am chasing my dreams thanks to the support from WSCA , my friends , and family . I encourage everyone to chase their dreams and live their lives to the fullest . Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your 2022-2023 WSCA Princess .
