Stalls: Tim Wamplfer Absent. Freeborn county 4H will be renting stalls again.
Old Business:-None.
New Business:
-Adaptive Riding Donation- In 2024, the Board approved building of safety ramps, for Adaptive Riding exhibitors. Dustin shared that we have a generous donor, to cover the cost of the ramps. The donor wishes to remain anonymous and will reimburse WSCA for the cost of the ramps.
-Pony Classes- there was discussion of how different show committees have been handling pony classes at the club level shows, and how there isn’ t consistency between all show committees, and that not all committees measure ponies to ensure ponies / riders are entering the appropriate class. There was discussed that clarification needs to be added to the rulebook, and how to get show committees all on the same page for how pony classes are handled.
-Exhibition classes-there was discussion to see if there is benefit into adding recommendations of when exhibitions should be run at open WSCA shows to the rulebook.
With no further new business, a motion was made by James Duenow, seconded by Julie Gintner to adjourn the July 1, 2026 Board of Directors meeting at 8:30 pm. Motion passed unanimously.
