Neighbor Grace Friend concurs . She moved to SpringRidge nine years ago and stated that although the community has evolved with time , the essence of the community — all the things she ’ s come to love — has remained unchanged .

“ My husband passed away before I moved to SpringRidge , and I ’ d never lived alone before ,” she explained . “ I felt such a sense of security once I arrived . It continues to be a nice , secure place to live , and everyone , including staff , is so nice .”

She looks forward to socializing with friends at the complimentary , made-to-order breakfast offered in the onsite restaurant and for dinner , which is included in the monthly fee . She also participates in Bible Study and enjoys the Friday social hours with live music .

The upcoming anniversary party will offer another fun way to gather with neighbors for food , fun , and friendship . Zest Director Cindy Foster has planned a spectacular “ Havana Nights ” event to celebrate 33 years of being the area ’ s premier retirement community . There will be a five-piece Cuban band , and the talented culinary team has planned an exquisite Cuban-inspired menu .

“ It ’ s going to be amazing ,” said Grace . “ Cindy does an excellent job with our programming , and we always have a fabulous time . I ’ ll raise a glass to toast the dedicated , kind staff that cater to our every need .”

After a three-year absence due to COVID-19 , the Men ’ s Club Invitational returned to Charbonneau and all the feedback has been very positive . Under warm skies , the tournament proceeded just like pre-Covid and , generally , the pace of play was good

MASON all day . A big thanks goes to Men ’ s Club Vice- President Spencer Groshong for leading this year ’ s Invitational planning . Multiple Men ’ s Club members assisted in this project and I wish a big thank you to all of them . A big thanks also goes to the CWGA , which filled multiple positions during the two-day event . Also , a big thanks goes to Chris Bensel and his staff for providing great support for everything from beautiful fairways to food to clean-up .
