Mind, the chosen charity for the night’ s proceedings, argues for mental health to be treated seriously by all communities from the government to small service groups. They raise money to help those in need and to help make their movement more known through public speakers who are willing to challenge those in power to campaign for a better future. They also help people directly by providing stability and support. The current lack of concern worldwide about mental health is unsettling – statistics increase negatively in different aspects regarding mental health every day. That’ s why Sevenoaks School chose to support Mind again, raising funds and awareness with Can Do 5.
