Helen Ostler( OS 1990) produced the BBC One series Reunion. Set in the deaf community, the production was bilingual, moving between British Sign Language and spoken English.
Writer and academic Michael Prodger( OS 1979) was interviewed for the Turner at 250 podcast with the New Statesman. He explored why Turner still matters, and how themes in Turner’ s work like the power of nature, the impact of technology and national identity resonate profoundly today.
In rifle shooting, nine OS took part in the Public Schools Veterans match, with Sasha Radkovskii( OS 2016) and Kitty Jack( OS 1998) reaching the King’ s Prize Final. Sasha was also selected for the Great Britain Rifle Team tour of Canada in August, which earned him his first cap.

Recent work by composer Chris Roe( OS 2007) includes scores for The Devil’ s Climb( Disney Plus), The Salt Path and Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue( MGM +/ BBC).
Ed Stambollouian( OS 2006) co-wrote and directed KENREX which transferred from an acclaimed run at the Sheffield Crucible to Southwark Playhouse, London.
Professor Solomon Tesfaye( OS 1978) was presented with an international Lifetime Achievement Award at the NeuroDiab annual meeting, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to diabetes research. He is the first person from the UK to win the prestigious accolade since 2008.
Fencer Amelie Tsang( OS 2022) represented Great Britain at the Championnats d’ Europe Juniors in Turkey, the U23 European Championships in Estonia, the Senior European Championships in Genova, the U20( Junior) World Championships in China and the Senior World Championships in Tbilisi.
Opera singer( Ian) Henry Waddington( OS 1986) played Don Zeta in the Holland Park, Scottish Opera and D’ Oyly Carte Opera co-production of The Merry Widow.
Nigel Wakefield( OS 1992) won the Firefly Inland National Championships at Bough Beech sailing club. He competed alongside fellow Old Sennockians Mike Steele( OS 1974), Edmund Jackson( OS 1982) and Dom Johnson( OS 1997).
Calvin Walker( OS 1981) successfully completed a 1000-mile aid mission from Folkestone to Ukraine in a retired NHS ambulance. As one of the volunteer drivers in the Medical Life Lines Remembrance Convoy, he delivered vital medical supplies and equipment to Lviv.
Singer-songwriter-harpist Hattie Webb( OS 1999) released her second solo album, Wild Medicine.
