NEW YORK DINNER
The Old Sennockians dinner in New York was a heartwarming evening of reconnection, celebration and shared memories. Against the backdrop of the Harvard Club( which sparked some friendly inter-Ivy rivalries), OS of different generations came together to bask in the joy of old friendships and the spark of new ones, proving once again the enduring power of the growing OS community abroad.
The highlight of the evening was the Headmaster’ s speech; his vision for the future of Sevenoaks stirred excitement and pride in all who attended. From reminiscing to the sweet moments of catching up with beloved former teachers and housemasters, the night was filled with laughter and nostalgia. With a broad swathe of universities represented, from Yale and Columbia to CalTech, Sciences Po and Boston, it was a wonderfully diverse gathering. Nonetheless, all were united by shared experiences and the common mantra that the IB might have been tougher than university itself!
It was a true testament to the strong bonds forged at Sevenoaks, reminding us that no matter the distance, the spirit of our school continues to bring us together in meaningful and lasting ways.

HONG KONG RECEPTION
Sevenoaks alumni, current and future parents, as well as friends of the school, gathered for the Headmaster’ s Drinks in Hong Kong in November. It was a wonderful opportunity for the Hong Kong community to connect, share stories, and hear from Mr Elzinga about the many exciting developments and achievements at the school over the past year. Several Old Sennockians, from recent leavers to those with children now attending Sevenoaks, also shared their memories, highlighting what a special place Sevenoaks is and filling the room with smiles and laughter.
CHICAGO RECEPTION
Camilla Worthington( OS 1999)
At the University Club of Chicago, generations of Sennockians gathered to reconnect over memories, laughter and drinks. A slideshow of smiling students sparked reflections of time at Sevenoaks, while conversations ranged from favourite teachers to boarding house rivalries. Many discovered fellow alumni living nearby, deepening a sense of community.
Heartfelt speeches from Dr Ives and Rebecca Black brought both laughter and teary eyes. As guests returned to their studies and careers, they carried with them renewed pride and a sense of belonging – a reminder that the bonds formed at Sevenoaks are lifelong, and the Sennockian spirit thrives wherever we find one another.
