dazzled with both their outfits and performance . It was a 10 from me !
While we were waiting in the wings for our names to be called , the next dance performance was a duet . A bittersweet feeling arrived – of both excitement and nervousness . Right before I went on stage my brain blanked , but as the music started , muscle memory kicked in and before I knew it … bam , it was over . Throughout the night three dancers stood out : Sophie Ross , Molly Hunt and Isla Thompson ( OS ). These multi-talented dancers really stole the show !
The most outstanding performance of all though , was the moving ‘ 99 Red Ballons ’, by Lyrical . Their black outfits contrasted well with the red balloons and the music was cleverly edited to a slower pace , which was more emotive . Of course , none of this would have been possible without the incredible Mrs Rhatigan who stepped in for multiple sick dancers .
Mrs Rhatigan and Ms Shaefer led the Dance Show with inspiration and creativity and the fantastic dance show wouldn ’ t have been the same without them . My friends and I are practising for next year already !
