THE ODYSSEY
Turning Homer ’ s Odyssey into a modern musical – to be performed by an ensemble of actors , singers , musicians and technicians – was an epic journey in itself .
This was a very special , memorable and organic project for all those who took part , where priority was placed on the artistic process and building an inclusive , dynamic company . And what a treat was served for the sell-out audiences : a sophisticated , entertaining and imaginative production – conceptually strong , full of depth , humour , reflection and pathos . Although photos underline how impressive the performances were , perhaps only in the live moment could one appreciate the shared experience and spirit of the company , who forged a lasting connection with their audience and each other .
