months I have been struck by the warmth of feeling towards the school even decades after people have left , and by the support for the school ’ s vision .
The Foundation ’ s initial focus on new buildings means we have award-winning spaces across the campus . These world-class buildings enable students to learn and thrive in an inspiring environment . Our most recent project , New House , the boarding house on the old Lambardes site , was completed earlier in the year and the first cohort of students are settled in . The house completes a closely connected boarding community alongside Aisher House , Park Grange and the IC . It also concludes the delivery of the school ’ s masterplan , which began with the opening of the Sennocke Centre in 2005 .
Alongside these capital projects , we have provided financial assistance for students who would otherwise not be able to experience a pioneering Sevenoaks education : a tradition linked to the very reason William Sevenoke established the school nearly 600 years ago , and maintained throughout the centuries . As we look to the future , the focus of the Foundation will be to deepen support for financial assistance through establishing a permanent endowment for the school , as part of the Sevenoaks 600 vision .
The Foundation team is building up to ensure we have the resources we need to launch our campaign to deliver on this vision . We look forward to telling you more and to meeting you at Sevenoaks , across the UK and at international events . We would be delighted to hear from you too , so please get in touch . And finally , to all those who have supported us this year , thank you . Your involvement makes the Sevenoaks difference .
