None of our past achievements or our future aims would be possible without our extended family of parents , alumni , staff , School Patrons , Governors , Trustees and friends who have so generously supported the Foundation and continue to be involved in our endeavours . To all our donors – past and present – who are at the heart of everything we can achieve , I extend my gratitude and thanks for helping us make a difference for Sevenoaks students today and for generations to come .

The Sevenoaks School Foundation was established in 2004 , so this year is our landmark 20th anniversary ; a moment to celebrate past achievements and look to the future .
I was elected Chair of Trustees in 2021 , but my association with the Foundation goes back to the very beginning . In 2002 , as a parent of two students at the school , I was invited to become a Governor , the first with a marketing background and , among other things , tasked to oversee development of the school ’ s website . At that time , the governing body decided the school needed a parallel organisation with the skills and resources to help advance its mission , and so the Foundation was born .
All the Trustees have first-hand experience of Sevenoaks School , either as past parents or Old Sennockians themselves , and are dedicated to ensuring it remains a pioneer of modern , international education and a force for good in global society .
This year we appointed a new Director of Advancement , Joanna Walker ( no relation ), who joins a growing team helping to realise the school ’ s vision as it moves towards its 600th anniversary in 2032 . We have two main development objectives : first , creating a permanent endowment , initially to fund
I joined the Foundation at the end of 2023 , and I am delighted to be part of a community with Sennockians far and wide . From our newest families who have just arrived to our alumni who remember the school 70 years ago , it is an extraordinary group and stretches across the globe . We are keen to increase the strength of this community in the coming years and to create opportunities for all of us to connect and enjoy our shared association with Sevenoaks . In my first few
