VOLLEYBALL CONTINUED
We love playing volleyball at Sevenoaks because we get to spend lots of time with our teammates . Whether it ’ s training or matches , we always find a way to have lots of fun together . At the beginning of the year , it was quite challenging playing with new people , but over the course of the year , we have all got to know each other really well . Volleyball is a great sport to be involved with because not only do you have the opportunity to perform on court and develop strong sportsmanship and respect for your opponents and teammates , you also get a chance to make lots of new friends .
We would like to give a massive thank you especially to Mr Bishop and also Mrs Jordan for making volleyball at Sevenoaks so enjoyable for all of us .

GOLF

Another successful year with our golfers again reaching the national finals !

This golf year was filled with remarkable achievements in all aspects of the game . The season commenced with us placing third in the Smarden Bell tournament , despite the tough conditions , and Kobi Smith coming fourth out of the 40 players .
A significant triumph for the team was the run to the national final of the ISGA Matchplay competition , which secured wins over Worth , Ardingly , King ’ s Canterbury , and a regional victory over Sutton Valence . Fred Ivey , Kobi Smith and I continued to represent Sevenoaks in the national final in the Summer term and placed 12th out of the 18 qualifiers . Our team also got the opportunity to play in the HMC foursomes , in which we had a 2-1 win over King ’ s Canterbury , but unfortunately , we faced narrow defeats to Sutton Valence and Tonbridge . Nonetheless the competition showcased the exceptional talent of our golfers .
The team could not have emerged victorious without the contributions of our Upper Sixth students , Ronnie Chen , Tienn Kapilasena , Fred Ivey , Juan Pablo Barona and Adèle De Saab . Thank you for your help and wishing you the best with golf beyond Sevenoaks !
