NETBALL
Our U12s , U13s , U16s and U18s are county champions and the 1st VII head to the national finals .
For the second year running we have had an incredible turnout for netball , with over 300 students having access to competitive fixtures in 34 teams spanning all age groups .
The season opened with an incredible senior netball tour to Barbados , with 25 girls having the opportunity to not only play against local competition , but also embrace the local culture , snorkel with turtles and eagle rays , and above all , bond and create lasting memories with their peers .
Following this amazing start to the year , several teams went on to achieve excellence with county champion titles at U12 , U13 , U16 and U18 , with our 1st VII reaching the national finals . This meant they played against the top 18 schools in the country , which had been whittled down from 1500 competitors : an amazing achievement for all involved .

Lauren Cripps
Over the past seven years , netball has been a huge part of our school lives . We loved having the opportunity to play netball and represent the school from Year 7 all the way through to the Sixth Form every single week .
Not only did it allow us to excel as a team , but it allowed us to make friends from all over the school . We had an amazing season in our final year , attending nationals and playing in many successful matches . The netball tour to Barbados was an unforgettable highlight . We would like to thank all the teachers within the PE and Sport department , and especially Miss Cripps and Miss Dorrington for the amazing season we had !
