NETBALL
1ST VII : AN UNDEFEATED SEASON
Having a full netball season again was a perfect way to end my seven years playing for the school . It was great to see such a wide representation of the school at senior level , with 1st through to 4th teams and U16A through to D teams .

Back to a full season with 300 players , 33 teams and 250 fixtures

After two years of disruption , it was a pleasure to be able to run a full netball term with a fantastic array of over 250 fixtures , and excellence being demonstrated in training , matches and tournaments . We were delighted to host new fixtures for the first time , including an inaugural fixture for the U14Gs . This year over 300 girls played in 33 teams .
With more Sevenoaks students representing NPL Performance hubs – the next step up from county netball and part of the England Netball pathway – and success at the U12 , U13 , U14 and U18 county netball competitions , the netball programme continues to grow . We hope to continue building on this success next year .
Lauren Cripps
At the start of the season as the 1st team , we set two team aims that we wanted to achieve by the end of the season . I am proud to say we achieved both : an undefeated season and a goal difference of over 100 – in fact , we achieved a 256-goal difference ! This aided us in finishing ninth in England for the nationwide schools ’ netball league . The highlight of this season for the senior teams was winning the Birley ’ s netball tournament across both the 1st and 2nd teams .
I would like to thank all the staff and coaches for such a perfect last season !

U14 TEAM : THIRD IN THE REGIONAL FINALS
The team came a long way in their netball between September and March . With dedication and an open mind to learning , we got through two county rounds ( despite a significant number of injuries in the squad ) to regionals . There , we had an unfortunate start to our first two matches , but afterwards we went on to win the rest of the matches . Overall , we came third , missing out on going to nationals by one point . But next year we will be back , aiming to qualify for nationals . On behalf of the team , I would like to thank all the coaches who worked with us .
