took five wicket hauls. The highlights of the season
were winning the league for the first time and
defending our King’s T20 tournament title on the last
Friday of term.
The U15A team won seven of their ten games to
win their league. The U15Bs enjoyed their season but
struggled, winning one of their six games. The U14s
are a strong cricketing year, with six representative
area cricketers. The A and B teams both won their
leagues, with victory in six of their seven games.
Standout performers in the As were Matt Dawkins,
Ollie Pryal and Henry Smith with the bat, and Oscar
Fussell with the ball. Oliver Lewis was the mainstay of
the B team batting performances.
Sevenoaks also fielded C and D teams at some age
groups this year and it was great to see students of
all abilities participating in matches and enjoying
their cricket. Thank you to all the pupils and staff for
committing to the programme this year and making
it such a successful season.
