Yoga for Everyone…
Feeling good! Being free of
pain! Welcoming each new
day in a state of enthusiastic
appreciation! Must we give
up on experiencing life as
sparkling and joyful just
because we have lived
through many decades?
We don’t have to. It’s
never too late to empower
ourselves… and yes, of
course, it’s easy to say.
But how and where do we
begin (especially if we are
dealing with pain and loss
and trauma)?
My suggestion is to begin
with a wish… a wish for
connecting to nothing
less than our own inner,
authentic selves.
That inner spark is
the starting point of
connections so vast and
all-encompassing that the
‘world wide web’ becomes
tiny and insignificant
by comparison. We can
connect to our healthy,
joyful selves regardless
of age, regardless of
conditions that make us
believe it is not possible.
STEP ONE: Our own
breath
STEP TWO: Quiet, gentle
movement
STEP THREE: Quiet,
gentle stillness
STEP FOUR: Learning to
be aware and conscious of
all of the above
