What Is A Therapy Dog?
Therapy
dogs
bring
their
unconditional love and acceptance
to people.
With wet noses and wagging tails,
they comfort the despondent,
distract those in pain, calm the
anxious and cheer the lonely.
Their presence can rekindle happy
memories and bring smiles and
laughter.
Therapy dogs visit nursing homes,
retirement homes, group homes,
VON Day Care Centres, hospitals
and many other places.
Therapy dogs give people something
to look forward to with their visits.
