ENGINEERING SCIENCE ENGINEERING SCIENCE & THE WORLD OF WORK Employment prospects include: If you choose Engineering Science you will get to learn and develop key skills for living and working including problem solving, team working, communication, key hands-on practical skills, thinking skills and organisational skills. You will also get the opportunity to develop your literacy and numeracy skills in a different context in Engineering. All of these are key skills employers are looking for. Is it for me? Engineering Science is the study of the far-reaching impact of engineering on our society. You will enjoy this subject if:  You like to design and build things,  You want to use your practical skills to fix problems and issues  You enjoy operating and controlling a variety of different mechanical systems Engineering Science works well in conjunction with other sciences especially Physics and Chemistry as well as Biology. What will I learn? Skills you will develop include;  Key practical skills  Organisational skills  Deductive and problem-solving skills,  Team working skills  The ability to apply scientific knowledge to understand and to look at solutions to modern day issues and problems. What can I do with it?
