MUSIC TECHNOLOGY MUSIC TECHNOLOGY & THE WORLD OF WORK Employment prospects: Modern music is heavily reliant on technology, from creating tracks on computers, through to digital production, sound manipulation and live sound. The growth in digital technology has resulted in an increase in job roles. Is it for me? You will enjoy this subject if:  You enjoy working with technology and sound production.  You enjoy Music but do not want to play an Instrument.  You have an interest in how music is recorded/produced.  You like to work individually and as part of a team.  You are interested in Music from the 20th/21st Century. What will I learn? You will develop skills and knowledge in:  Using Music technology hardware and software efficiently.  Capturing and Manipulating Audio effectively.  Creating Audio Projects in a range of contexts.  Analysis and evaluation of your own work and the work of others.  Transferable skills such as: communication skills, self-discipline, problem solving skills, team work, computing skills. What can I do with it?   Careers and Education routes in: NC, HNC, HND and degree level courses.
