Modern music is heavily reliant on technology, from creating tracks on computers,
through to digital production, sound manipulation and live sound. The growth in
digital technology has resulted in an increase in job roles.
Is it for me? You will enjoy this subject if:
You enjoy working with technology and sound
production.
You enjoy Music but do not want to play an
Instrument.

recorded/produced.
You like to work individually and as part of a team.

Century.
What will I learn? You will develop skills and knowledge in:
Using Music technology hardware and software
efficiently.
Capturing and Manipulating Audio effectively.
Creating Audio Projects in a range of contexts.
Analysis and evaluation of your own work and the
work of others.
Transferable skills such as: communication skills,

computing skills.
