Council Oak Barrel Aged Cocktails Dinner It was a “barrel” of an evening when Council Oak Steaks & Seafood teamed up with Southern Wine & Spirits to host an innovative Barrel Aged Cocktail Dinner. Held in the Council Oak Lounge, guests were treated to an intimate four-course feast, paired with a variety of Barrel Aged cocktails and music from singer Samantha Leigh. Diners also received their very own commemorative 2 liter oak barrel, filled with Council Oak’s very own special Manhattan cocktail to take home and enjoy! Chef Alon preparing the Sweet Obsession dessert Jackman Farm’s Wagyu Filet The S’mores Martini $100,000 and $400,000 Slot Tournaments On Friday, September 25th Seminole Hard Rock Tampa hosted a $100,000 slot tournament inside the lower level of the Hard Rock Cafe. Over 275 guests competed in the tournament by playing a single four minute session. The Hard Rock Cafe was transformed with black and white accents and a full seafood spread including king crab, snow crab, lobster and shrimp cocktails. On Saturday, September 26th the $400,000 slot tournament began with each guest playing in two back to back four minute sessions. This tournament took over the entire cafe and featured aerial performers and a champagne chandelier! Lounge set up for the Tournament The stage is set! Hands Across the Bay Charity Event When it comes to “Helping Hands”, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is committed to raising money to support non-profits in the Tampa Bay area. This past September, “Hearts of Gold” were fluttering all over Tampa Bay as the casino raised money to support Julie Weintraub’s Hands Across the Bay. The month-long fundraising efforts were celebrated Sunday, September 27th when the casino hosted a Play For A Cause Fundraising Event. This fun-filled evening featured a red carpet ceremony, Charity Slot Tournament, a benefit concert featuring Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival headliner The Cruz Brothers and a check presentation to Hands Across the Bay for $6,895! The Hard Rock Team presents charity check Founded by Julie Weintraub, Hands Across the Bay works tirelessly to provide “A Helping Hand for a Better Tomorrow”. They assist and mentor hardworking families in need, advocate for change, support partner organizations and spread love through various acts of kindness. Through their work, they help Tampa Bay families get back on the road to independence and self-sufficiency and inspire our community to become more compassionate, empathetic, and charitable.
