Prepare a Presentation
Suggested Measurable Activities to Apply the Learning
1. Volunteer to prepare a short presentation (to inform) about your department/company/
product that can be delivered to people new to the business or external people (students, visitors
etc).
2. Prepare a presentation (to inform) about your role that you could give to others in your
department/organisation. How does the content differ to the presentation you would give in the
first activity?
3. Identify a presentation that you have given (or observed) in the past that didn’t go as well as it
should. With the benefit of hindsight, prepare that presentation again.
4. Prepare an informal presentation (to persuade) that you could give to a team or simply your
manager at your next performance review, about the value that you add to the company.
