Whats In My Bag?

You should never, ever ask a photographer what she, or indeed he, has in her, or his, bag, why? Because we will spend hours telling you every single thing about every single detail and bore you to death.

I actually use more than one bag to carry around all of my camera gear, one bag, the Bilingham Hadley Pro, is an everyday camera bag, when I want to go light on my gear, and my second bag, a Lowepro AW backpack, carries all of my current camera's and lenses, which is needed if I am on a wildlife shoot, one camera for wildlife images, along with one lens, and two other camera's for filming me taking those images!

My Lowepro backpack which I have had for 15 years or more now, and it is as sturdy and rugged as a backpack can be, without being too heavy.

My Camera's

My camera for self portraits is currently the Fujifilm X-E2. The X-E2 is a rangefinder styled camera, however, the most important aspect of this camera aside from its amazing image quality, is wifi enabled, so I can connect this to my Huawei smartphone.

My first Fuji camera, the X-A2, is now kept with me primarily as a back up camera, should my X-E2 fail on me. This camera has a traditional bayer sensor, where as the X-E2 has the improved X-Trans sensor, which gives more detail in images despite both camera's being 16MP in size!

A recent addition to my camera bag came in the form of a competition prize, the Canon EOS M5, with 15-45mm lens as well as a lens adapter allowing me to attach my old EF lenses to the newer EF-M mount, which will take my old 90-300mm Canon lens, which is handy for my wildlife and birding photography!

This is a 24MP camera, and has super fast autofocus along with an impressive 9 frames per second (FPS).
