“ I am not an antique dealer , but you might find some vintage items along with brand-new pieces ,” said Cottrell . “ My goal is to have some things that will be of interest to most people . I want my customers to take something home that they love and to do that I need to give them many different styles in various price ranges .”
Cotrell asks that all items are in good condition , clean and smoke-free . Minor repairs can often be made if needed .
“ Sometimes I have consignors or customers who need delivery and I am always happy to assist them with pickups and deliveries for an extra fee ,” she noted .
Since Boujee on a Budget opened in October of 2022 , Cottrell has been encouraged at the number and quality of consignors .
“ From the beginning , most people have understood the vision of passing along your pre-loved items , and picking out new things that excite and bring you a little bit of decorating joy ,” she said . “ My customers have been thrilled to see the variation of styles and excellent quality that I have tried to maintain .
“ There is also immediate satisfaction that your items don ’ t have to be ordered , and can be sitting in your home the same day ,” she added .
