Incorporating Auxiliary Business Services
As April began, so did collaboration with SCL Marketing and Communications to develop formatting and communication strategies for the plan’ s publication. After the integration with Auxiliary Business Services on May 1, a workshop was conducted to ensure coherence within the comprehensive strategic plan, which now represents Student and Campus Life. In conclusion, the strategic planning process embodied principles of collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity, providing ample opportunities for all stakeholders to contribute. Through open dialogue and engagement, everyone who desired to participate had a platform to share their perspectives, ensuring that the resulting strategic plan truly represents the collective vision and aspirations of the entire division.
Open Comment and Setting Targets
March was marked by a divisionwide comment period on the draft plan, during which over one-third of SCL employees participated and provided feedback. Most of this feedback was positive or neutral, reflecting a strong consensus around the proposed goals and strategic direction. A second half-day retreat in March focused on refining baseline metrics, setting targets, establishing timelines, and identifying responsible parties.
