Calculating your Active Metabolic Rate (Math) Víctor Zuñiga A01193634 Francisco Garza A01193705 Ruben Estrella A01193988 Introduction: BMR means Basal Metabolic rate which is the normal metabolic rate at rest of your body. With this BMR you can measure and know how many calories you need depending on your exercise rate. The two things you need to know for getting the BMR is your height and your weight, then you need to do calculation with a series of formulas for getting also the correct diet calories. BMR depends a lot on the genre and age of people because metabolic rates are very different from each other. Metabolism is all the chemical and physical processes within the body that converts the food we eat into energy. The metabolism varies also depending on your genre and age. Taking the correct diet depending on your calories that you should eat will make a you a healthy person and your ingestion of proteins, vitamins and minerals will be balanced. Every person needs to have the correct balanced meals in order to stay healthy.
