Helping Heal our Heros

Rock&Rally for the troops

This, bottom line up front was an amazing day full of music and inspiration. I had the pleasure of meeting Wesley, a two time Purple Heart awardee. Wesley, the founder of life over legs and mentor to those struggling with PTSD, took the time to really put a face to the reason why we were all there at the 3rd annual Rock and Rally for the Troops. It wasn’t all about the music… It was about making a difference through music.

The Rock and Rally for the troops raised over $9,000 for our wounded service members on August 3rd making the total for the last three years the event has been held over $20,000. It just does not get much better than that. The Brothers in Arms Motorcycle Club who sponsors the event raised over $2,000 of the $9,000 total. This year was the biggest year yet… I don’t know how but I am sure that next year will be even better as the word spreads about this amazing opportunity to help heal through music.

"OK the moment you have all been waiting for....last night we raised just over $9000 for the programs of Operation Ward 57!!! " - Brittney Hamilton
