Tim was the second born of Ern (Boy) and Elise and younger brother of Susan.
Ern and Elise met in the army and built a life for their family in Morley.
As you may imagine, when Tim was born in 1959 and the doctors realised the
extent of his disability, they advised Ern and El to put him in a home and go
on with their lives. This was never an option! Elise became very involved in the
ACTIV Foundation and together they ensured neither Tim nor Susan
would miss out or want for anything.
