The Barefoot Movement , award winners at the 2013 Telluride Bluegrass Festival and the 2014 International Bluegrass Music Awards , draws from styles of bluegrass , folk , acoustic rock and Americana . With original songs , impressive instrumentation , and interweaving harmonies , this band converges old and new into a style all its own : heartfelt , energetic , and down home . Heralded by CMT Edge as “ one of the most promising bands on the bluegrass scene ,” the music of the Nashville based group is as down to earth as their intention for members of their audience : sit back , relax , take your shoes off , and stay a while .

The Blue Canvas Orchestra re-creates the music of The Opry ’ s legendary performers such as Hank Williams , Patsy Cline , Marty Robbins and The Carter Family . Debuting in 2014 , this show is a resounding hit . Severin Behnen wrote the show and leads the band . Corey Carlson , our own musical chameleon , assisted Behnen in the creation of the show and is featured along with guests Randy Sabien , Joe Savage , Danielle Diamond and Emily Belanger in this nostalgic and entertaining romp through the best Western songs from the heydays of The Grand Ole Opry .

Hear the changes in the traditional Celtic tunes as bluegrass and other genres are being born into the world of our American musical culture . Country singer / songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vince Gill has sold more than 26 million albums . He has earned 18 CMA Awards , including Entertainer of the Year in 1993 and 1994 . Song of the Year four times – making him the most-awarded artist in that category in CMA history . Gill is a member of the Grand Ole Opry , and has received 20 Grammy Awards to date , the most of any male Country artist . In August of 2007 , the Country Music Association inducted Gill as a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame .
