Band member Billy Krause was the first to encourage Perry to perform the songs he’ d composed in between writing bestselling books. As Perry says about that inaugural concert,“ I ain’ t sayin’ I was nervous, but I ripped out a 60-minute set in 32 minutes flat!” These days he is more relaxed and the band( often with special guests) gathers onstage like friends who are simply happy to be singing together— as they are. Kevin and Dan kindly rely on the“ strangeness of others” to inspire stories and songs. Best known for his popular commentaries on National Public Radio’ s“ All Things Considered,” Kevin’ s autobiographical tales are as enchanting as they are true to life. Brandi has spent ten years performing, recording and touring with Phil and Tim Hanseroth, building a musical career one fan at a time. Her music is a vibrant mix of alternative country and folk-rock. She has headlined such celebrated venues as Red Rocks Amphitheater, Wolf Trap and the Austin City Music Festival where she performed to 75,000 adoring fans.
