Sign up for our brand-new beginner ’ s writing class that will take you step by step through the process so that you can successfully achieve your goals . Individual help , in-class writing prompts , and reading samples will help you understand structure , word choice , point of view , scenes , dialogue , and all the rest . If you ’ ve lived a full life , you have stories to tell , a legacy to leave behind , and a wealth of life experiences that can be turned into memoir , fiction , and even poetry . This workshop combines motivating writing prompts , drawing activities , and discussions about mindful awareness for those interested in journaling for optimal change , writing poetry , flash fiction , or short reflections .

WRITER ’ S CIRCLE CRITIQUE $ 80
Learn how to play the ukulele ! The ukulele is easy to learn and great for singers . There ' s no need to know how to read music . At the first class , a variety of ukuleles will be available to sample . You will need to purchase / rent your own instrument for the remainder of the course . Space is limited , register at the front desk .
Serious writers completing a longer work in fiction , nonfiction , scriptwriting , freelance proposals , or memoir share their work , receive valuable critique from experienced writers , offer feedback to others .
