This presentation covers gardening in the Southern Californian Mediterranean climate and will provide tips for designing and planning the drought tolerant garden , including steps to implement the garden design . Beginning with a definition and description of drought tolerant plants , attendees will learn how to select , plant , water and maintain the right plants to thrive in their gardens .
