6- " A FEAST FOR THE WRETCHED " What can you say about the CD? And how I received the press and fans?
A Feast for the Wretched did really great for fans and press. It gave Execra on a strong beginning for a full length. It is the more " brutal " album, but we wanted to push ourselves further for the new album.
7- bassist execra on MOSTROSITY was, what was the me for the band?
Mike Poggione did a few bass tracks for us on A Feast for the Wretched. That ' s all. He ' s a nice guy and volunteered to do it since he used to be in a band a long me ago called Execra on.
8- Tell us about the mini CD " INFERNAL
ANNIHILATION "? And how he received the public?
It gave us our foot in the door to show how we were star ng out. I think people realized our poten al and where we wanted to go with the music for A Feast for the Wretched
10- How much is all the icons of your covers with your lyrics?
The covers have a lot to do with lyrical themes. A Feast for the Wretched was inspired more about an-establishment, an-religion. The Acceptance of Zero Existence is described above, and definitely goes with the lyrical content of the album very well.
11- Why this latest work came with the seal COMATOSE MUSIC? And not with UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS? And how are things going with COMATOSE MUSIC?
Unique Leader was taking too long to get us into the studio. We kept ge ng pushed out on dates and it was frustra ng. Steve at Comatose Music took good care of us, so I wanted to go back to a label that has a good rela onship with their bands. Our next album will also be released on Comatose Music in Spring of 2014.
12- Tell us about the fes vals in which you par cipated?, Do you prefer bars or metal shows fest?
2 different fests in Las Vegas, 2 different Goregrowlers Ball fests, CIM 2008, Building Temples From Death, Be Kind and Regrind, Apocalypse Fest, Foothills Gu est. Also a good amount of minitours, and a shitload of local shows with touring bands as well as local bands. Of course playing in front of a bigger crowd at fests is more ideal, playing smaller venues can be great as well. We love playing shows and bring a ton of energy every me
13- Any video in progress or plans?
9- Tell us how the band was formed? And where did the name of execra on?
Myself and the other co-founder, Colin Foran, had played metal together for years, but wanted to go more extreme with it. We wanted an aggressive name that had something to do with an act of hate. That is Execra on. Execra on also means to cast a spell( Execra on Magic)
We are going to make a video soon, but we just keep concentra ng on wri ng new music and playing shows. We also have a full US tour being planned right now.
14- Tell us a crazy experience at fes vals?,? Building Temples from Death Fest tell us about this experience?
The fests are all good experiences and partying with friends in other bands. Building Temples From Death was great with 2 levels and different stages. It was a great fest to play and watch the other bands that played. We have fun playing alongside people we like to listen to. Everyone brought great energy to the stage at Building Temples From Death
